Adidas And Derrick Rose Have Officially Launched The New DRose 10s

Derrick Rose and Adidas have officially launched the new DRose 10 sneakers in China.

In releasing the 10th edition of the popular sneakers, Rose is becoming just the 8th player in NBA history to have a signature series with more than 10 consecutive models.

Even though Rose wasn’t able to return to the level of play that saw him become the league’s youngest MVP in NBA history, after his injuries, he still remained a fan favorite. Rightfully so!

NBA fans want him to succeed so badly because of what he’s been through. I think it’s fair to say that Rose’s struggles throughout his career is relatable with the struggles individuals face in their everyday life. He is a perfect example of not giving up, and I truly believe people can relate to that.

No matter what situation we are faced with in life, we always have to look for a way to fight, and NBA fans sympathize with the journey Rose has undertaken in his career so far. It’s the ability of seeing someone overcome a difficult situation and come back that makes him a feel-good player around the association.

The shirt Rose was wearing for the launch was especially dope. The text on the shirt crossed out “DONE DONE DONE” with “NOT DONE YET” written over it.

The DRose 10 model is a celebration of the decade-long line, incorporating elements from all 9 sneakers that preceded it.

Per HouseOfHeat:

“A Bounce midsole and padded ankle collar/structured heel clip offer cushion and support in equal measures, while the outsole mixes herringbone and circular traction patterns for all-surface grip. The first five colorways have just dropped on adidas.com, including pairs that pay homage to China — a country where he is so well-loved, as well as a shoutout to Simeon High, Derrick’s alma mater.”
