After Being Benched In The 4th, Hassan Whiteside Chose To Leave The Arena

Hassan Whiteside actually is playing a pretty good statistical season, but apparently not good enough for coach Erik Spoelstra to play him in the fourth quarter.

In the Heat’s loss to the Orlando Magic last night, Whiteside was once again benched in the fourth quarter.

But instead of sitting on the bench, he was nowhere to be seen when the final buzzer sounded. In the final minute, Whiteside chose to not support his team from the sidelines, but to leave the arena early instead.

This most likely won’t help his cause. The drama is back and it may be best for both sides to find a trade partner for the talented big man.
