Anonymous League Executive Says LeBron James Killed The Lakers’ Chemistry

Last night, the Los Angeles Lakers once again lost to a tanking team. Even though the Memphis Grizzlies aren’t necessarily trying to win these days, they had no problem beating the Lakers, who are fighting for a playoff spot.

It was the Lakers’ fourth defeat in five games, even though LeBron James has been back from injury for three of them (1-2). The team looks dysfunctional these days, which is understandable.

Team executives and LeBron James basically saying that they would trade all of the other players for Anthony Davis, isn’t really encouraging for a player. I wouldn’t give my very last for a team that was on the verge of trading me either, and that’s how the team is performing these days.

LeBron also seems to have lost a step since coming back, looks significantly slower and isn’t trying to hard on the defensive end.

An anonymous league executive now spoke to Bleacher Report and blamed LeBron’s comments about Anthony Davis for killing the Lakers’ chemistry.

“He killed the [Lakers’] chemistry,” one NBA executive said. “He shouldn’t have been so public about it. Even during the All-Star draft, he laughed about [wanting Davis to be his teammate].”
