Anthony Davis and LeBron James have been teammates on the Los Angeles Lakers for four seasons now. The two stars not only built a strong chemistry on the court, but they also forged a brotherly bond for life.

One would expect Davis to be supportive of LeBron breaking the all-time scoring record on Tuesday night. But it wasn’t quite the case as Davis decided to sit on the bench and not cheer while LeBron drained a fadeaway jumper to become the NBA’s all-time leading scorer.

Davis received plenty of heat for not standing up for his teammate’s legendary milestone, with many fans wondering the reason behind his reaction. Appearing in a recent interview, Davis cleared all the noise and said that he was just frustrated about losing the game.

“Come on now, you know me and Bron’s relationship…was sad about the game. I mean we’re losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder, a game we needed, and I was pissed off that we were losing. It had nothing to do with Bron. He knows that.”
