Anthony Edwards Still Uses Flip Phone: “That’s My Baby”
Things couldn’t be any better these days in Minneapolis. The Timberwolves have won seven of their last eight games and currently are the 6th seed in the Western Conference, sitting only 2.5 games behind 3rd place.
One of the reasons of the Wolves’ current success is the performance of Anthony Edwards, who has taken yet another giant step this season and is averaging 22 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game.
Edwards in general not only is loved by Wolves fans, but by the general NBA audience. He’s an amazing player, funny and a man of the people, so it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise.
After the Wolves’ win over the Indiana Pacers last night, Ant’s flip phone rang during his postgame press conference. Yes, you’ve read correctly: FLIP PHONE. He answered it. And was asked about his flip phone.
“Yeah, that’s my baby.”
