Atlanta Hawks Had No Faith They’d Force A Game 6 Vs Celtics & Double Booked Arena With Janet Jackson Concert

While most people expected a sweep in the first round series between the Boston Celtics and the Atlanta Hawks – especially after Boston’s dominant Game 1 – the Hawks have fought back twice, winning Games 3 and 5.

Interestingly enough, not only the fans, but also the Hawks themselves didn’t believe that they would still be in the playoffs at this time, and never planned to actually play a Game 6 at home.

This is also the reason Atlanta’s State Farm Arena was already spoken for, as Janet Jackson’s Together Again tour was scheduled for tonight.

In the meantime, this has led to State Farm Arena rescheduling the Janet Jackson concert to Friday and with all ticket purchases being honored and refunds being available for anyone who can’t attend.
