Baron Davis Hilariously Recalls His ‘Welcome To The NBA’ Moment

Baron Davis definitely was one of the fanciest players in the leauge.

The third overall pick of the 1999 NBA draft, had a very respectable career and played for the Charlotte Hornets, the New Orleans Hornets, the Golden State Warriors, the Los Angeles Clippers, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks.

In his prime, Davis made the All-Star team twice and also was a member of one All-NBA Team.

But even All-Stars have their ‘welcome to the league’ moments, where a veteran showed them as a rookie that they’re not in college anymore. In Davis’ case it came courtesy of John Stockton, who embarrassed him in their first meeting.

Welcome to the NBA’ moment: “John Stockton embarrassed me, dawg. John Stockton made me feel like ‘Damn, do I know how to play basketball?’ I had never been taken out the game so fast.”
