Bill Russell Hilariously Reminded Fan That He’s Still Alive

Bill Russell is undoubtedly one of the greatest player in NBA history. No one has won as many championships. Winning is part of his DNA. He was the ultimate leader and is a true legend.

He’s an 11-time NBA champion (1957, 1959–1966, 1968, 1969), 5- time NBA MVP (1958, 1961–1963, 1965), 12-time NBA All-Star (1958–1969), 11-time All-NBA Team member, 4-time rebounding champion and a 2-time NCAA champion, and most importantly, he still is alive and doing well. 

Last night though, he had to remind a Celtics fan of that last fact. During the Celtics game against the Portland Trail Blazers, a fan tweeted that ‘Bill Russell was looking down from heaven smiling’ after a great defensive play by Marcus Smart. Russell himself hilariously reminded the fan that he still is among the living.
