Baseball in the USA has a ceremonial first pitch before the start of the game. A guest of honor throws a ball to mark the end of pregame festivities and the start of the game.
Most of the times, the first pitch is pretty awful, and when it was NBA legend Bill Walton’s turn to throw the first pitch at a San Diego Padres game, he didn’t disappoint. Let’s just say, it did not go too well.
