Bobby Portis Calls Out Double Standard After Draymond Green Wasn’t Suspended For Punching Jordan Poole

Draymond Green has been making rounds on social media following his heated altercation with teammate Jordan Poole. In a leaked viral video, the 32-year old was seen bumping up his chest with Poole before later deciding to swing his right hand to knock his teammate down.

Key personalities on the Golden State Warriors such as Bob Myers, Steve Kerr and Stephen Curry have already spoken up about the incident, and each of them shares the same stance that Green was in the wrong in this situation. 

The Warriors have decided to fine, rather than suspend, Green for punching Poole during their practice. Apparently, this decision doesn’t sit well with many NBA pundits like Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis.

In 2017, Portis, who was playing for the Chicago Bulls at that time, was suspended eight games for punching Bulls teammate Nikola Mirotic. Seeing how Green avoided the same punishment, Portis now called out the double standard.

This wasn’t the first time Portis weighed in on the conversation. He previously defended himself and compared his situation to Green’s situation shortly after the initial news broke.
