After a disgruntling stint with the New York Knicks, former No.10 overall pick Cam Reddish has found a new home with the Portland Trail Blazers. Although it’s only been a couple of games for him, Reddish has shown what he’s capable of when given the opportunity.

He’s seeing greater opportunities and results as expected, now being utilized as a starter with averages of 13.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game on 46.4% shooting from the field in 30.8 minutes of playing time – something that he never got with the Knicks.

Now reflecting on his time with his former team, Reddish didn’t mince words as he explained how the Knicks took him out of the rotation and got him warming up the bench most of the time.

Per Yahoo Sports:

“It was tough but at the same time, it ain’t even about basketball,” Reddish told the Daily News. “It had nothing to do with basketball. It was all the politics, all the favoritism. S—t like that. That’s why I wasn’t too worried about it.”
