Celtics GM Brad Stevens Spotted Scouting 7’2″ Unicorn Victor Wembanyama In France

Victor Wembanyama has been considered the best basketball prospect on earth for some years now, while continuing to turn heads among scouts and journalists.

Wembanyama, who is the early favorite to go first off the draft board in next year’s NBA draft has an utterly impressive skillset for someone his age and size especially.

The young Frenchman is listed at 7’2, with a 7’9 wingspan, which even feels very conservative. He is quick, can pass, shoot the three and has handles – the full package.

While it is very unlikely for the Boston Celtics to walk away with the first overall draft pick next year, Celtics GM Brad Stevens went to France to take a closer look at Wembanyama in person nonetheless.

“You have to always be ready for not only what’s coming your way this year, but 10 years from now.”
