In the wake of former Miami Heat point guard Mario Chalmers going on record that NBA players aren’t scared to face former teammate LeBron James, fans and basketball pundits alike have chimed in on whether his comments hold any truth.

One of the many people who went on to give his perspective on the matter was former Houston Rockets sharpshooter and current NBA analyst Chandler Parsons. For his part, Parsons actually went head-to-head with LeBron a number of times over the course of his career.

Given his firsthand experience in facing four-time NBA champion, Parsons now added a bit of spark to Chalmers’ comments and said that he feared guarding Kevin Durant more than LeBron during his playing days.

“When I was playing, I feared guarding Kevin Durant more than I feared guarding LeBron James just because of his ability to score in iso, the way he can break you off. The way you can play great defense, he can shoot over you. LeBron is more passive. He gets off by making the extra pass. He’s less aggressive.”
