Chandler Parsons Thinks Shannon Sharpe Should Not Be Allowed To Sit Courtside At Any NBA Game Anymore

A lot of interesting things transpired during Friday’s game between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Los Angeles Lakers, but one that caught everyone’s attention was Shannon Sharpe’s heated altercation with Ja Morant’s father and several Grizzlies players.

The incident took place during halftime of the game, and it apparently started after Sharpe told Dillon Brooks that he was too small to guard LeBron James. Brooks then took some verbal jabs on Sharpe before he was joined by Ja Morant, Steven Adams and Tee Morant.

Sharpe had to be escorted off the court and into the tunnel where he remained throughout halftime before returning to his seat for the third quarter. The NFL Hall of Famer then hugged it out with Tee Morant and eventually finished the game.

Former NBA player Chandler Parsons had a lot to say on Sharpe following the incident. Appearing on Fan Duel TV, Parsons said that the Fox Sports personality should have been tossed out of the game completely and should not be allowed to sit courtside at any NBA game anymore.

“Shame on the Lakers and their security team. If it was an ordinary person, then he would have been immediately taken away from the arena. Just because someone buys a ticket to a game doesn’t mean they can now do absolutely whatever they want.”

“This guy should’ve been kicked out so quick, he should not be able to go back to a game courtside. This was pathetic on the Lakers security.”
