Charles Barkley Bet $100,000 On The Portland Trail Blazers To Win The West This Season

The NBA has finally returned, and so has Charles Barkley and his bold, uncanny opinions. It is no secret that Chuck isn’t someone who shies away from spitting hot takes that leave people scratching their heads. Despite being wrong a lot of times, it doesn’t stop him from doing the same thing over again.

Last year, Barkley was one of those people who came out and predicted that the eight-seeded Portland Trail Blazers would upset the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the playoffs. He also looked at the Blazers as a sleeper title contender in the West if they were healthy last season.

After being on the wrong side of those takes, it seems like the NBA Hall of Famer hasn’t move on from supporting Damian Lillard and the Rip City. During the live telecast of ‘NBA on TNT’ ahead of the opening night, Barkley made his bet on the Blazers to make it to the Finals this season. He definitely put his money where is mouth is.
