Charles Barkley Picks The Denver Nuggets To Win The NBA Championship: “They Have Everything They Need”

The Denver Nuggets are showing exactly why they’re the No.1 seed in the Western Conference. This playoffs, the Nuggets have been downright dominant, dispatching the Minnesota Timberwolves in the opening round and are currently up 2-1 against the Phoenix Suns in their second-round playoff matchup.
Coming into the playoffs, a number of basketball pundits aren’t quite believers that the Nuggets are legitimate title contenders in the playoffs. But so far, they have fared better than expected and have given everyone a reason to root for them going forward.
There’s still plenty of work to be done for the Nuggets, and although it’s still difficult to predict who will eventually come out in the Western Conference, NBA Hall of Famer and media personality Charles Barkley is already buying into Nuggets’ championship potential.
“They’re (Phoenix) getting beat by a better team,” Barkley told Stephen A. Smith. “I think the Nuggets are gonna win this series. I think the Nuggets gonna win the NBA Championship, to be honest with you. They have everything they need. Jamal Murray is finally back to being healthy.”
“The Joker (Nikola Jokic), we don’t give this kid enough credit. Their general manager, their bench is so good right now. I mean, their bench is spectacular. Denver is my favorite in the West and I think they’re gonna be the favorite to win the world championship.”
“I think the Nuggets are going to win the NBA Championship.”
