Charles Barkley Reranks His All-Time List & LeBron James Improves To No. 7

Charles Barkley was one of the most entertaining players in NBA history. On and off the court. Thankfully this hasn’t changed for his second career in broadcasting.

What also hasn’t changed, is Barkley’s all-time top 5. The last time, Chuck was asked about his greatest players of all-time list, he included Michael Jordan, Oscar Robertson, Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-Jabaar and Wilt Chamberlain, saying that he won’t ever change these five. He did mention Kobe Bryant as his number six, and Tim Duncan as his number seven though.

Now, Charles Barkley was guest on ESPN’s ‘Coffee With Cal’, hosted by Kentucky head coach John Calipari, and ranked his top players again.

While he indeed did not mess with his top 5, he bumped up LeBron James in his ranking. James now comes in at No. 7, whereas he previously wasn’t ranked by the Chuckster.

“I love LeBron and everything about him, but I do think the way they play the game today, he didn’t want any part of those bad-boy Pistons. Let me tell you something, those guys were out there trying to hurt people.”
