Charles Barkley Reveals Kobe Bryant Signed To Join ‘Inside the NBA’ Crew, But Pulled Out Later

Kobe Bryant was a lot of things – husband, father, NBA legend, champion, MVP, business man, and Academy Award winner – to only name a few.

But one thing Bryant has not been, was a broadcaster – but that also almost happened. During his appearance on ‘The Draymond Green Show’, Charles Barkley revealed that Turner Sports actually signed Kobe to join the Inside the NBA crew. Apparently though, Bryant eventually pulled out.

According to Barkley, Bryant didn’t want to do the promotion part of the show that came along with the job. 

“He didn’t wanna do all the other bullsh*t. I’m probably gonna get in trouble for saying this. But it’s one of the little things that we keep in the cards. He actually signed with us.”
