The Los Angeles Lakers might’ve turned their season around, but they fell short of their ultimate goal of winning the NBA championship following their loss to the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals.

In turn, the Lakers will now enter the offseason with big-picture questions as they look to bolster some of the weak spots on the roster. Notably, Lakers superstar Anthony Davis is now being viewed by some basketball pundits as a potential trade piece.

Considering Davis’ injury history and offensive inconsistency, NBA analyst Colin Cowherd thinks the Lakers should consider trading the 30-year old defensive center to the New York Knicks for Julius Randle and RJ Barrett.

“I think you gotta take a call on AD. I look at a team like the New York Knicks. Could you get an RJ Barrett and Julius Randle? That sounds horrible, but RJ is going to give me a lot of games. Randle is going to give me a lot of games. Between the two, I’m gonna get fairly consistent points.”
