David Samuels Knocked Opposing Player Out Cold

There was a shameful altercation this past weekend in Austria’s highest basketball league, the Admiral Basketball Bundesliga.

We’ve got to witness the first real NBA brawl in years this past weekend, when Rajon Rondo, Chris Paul and Brandon Ingram threw fists, but what happened in Austria, made the Lakers-Rockets brawl look like a tea party.

Bronx, New York native David Samuels, who went undrafted in the 2015 NBA Draft after playing for Long Beach State, knocked out opposing player Erwin Zulic. He most likely was frustrated, as his team was down by 19 with only three minutes to go in the 4th. Then, after Zulic’s dunk, he kind of taunted Samuels a little bit. Bad idea! He paid the price and got knocked out.

Samuels was immediately fired by his team, Kapfenberg.
