On Wednesday, DeMar DeRozan’s daughter, Diar, had begged her father to be at the Chicago Bulls’ Play-In game in Toronto.

Surprisingly to everyone, including DeMar, we soon found out why she desperately wanted to be there. Whenever the Raptors were at the free throw line, Diar screamed at the top of her lungs to distract Toronto players. In fact, her screams were so audible, the broadcast and fans around the world took notice of it.

Oh and it was super successful, as the Raptors went on to miss 18 of their 36 free throws!

This however, had some unfortunate and utterly disgusting consequences for Diar – the nine-year old received a lot of online threats, that even led to her having to be escorted out of the game by security.

“DeMar DeRozan’s daughter, Diar, was escorted out of Scotiabank Arena on Wednesday by Bulls’ security and led to the team bus with her father after NBA notified the team of severe online threats directed at the nine-year-old, sources tell NBA on TNT and Bleacher Report.”

Imagine how stupid and immature you have to be to threaten a kid, because your team lost a Play-In game. DeMar DeRozan also made a statement, calling those threatening his daughter ‘miserable’ people who ‘don’t have a life’. Spot on, DeMar.

“It’s crazy. It’s the world we live in. No matter how good something could be, you still got miserable people that just don’t have a life, honestly. It’s sad. All I care about is my daughter enjoying her moment.”
