DeMarcus Cousins Reveals His All-Time Mt. Rushmore

New Orleans Pelicans star center DeMarcus Cousins recently revealed his Mt. Rushmore of NBA greats to Mikey Domagala of OpenCourt-Basketball.com.

The 26-year-old center revealed a few common names almost every NBA fan would include, but then made a debatable choice.

Cousins had no problem rambling off three names: Magic Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal, and Michael Jordan, but paused a few moments to think about choosing LeBron James or Kobe Bryant.

“Magic Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal… this is tough man,” Cousins giggled. “Michael Jordan.”

Then, the All-Star center gave kudos to LeBron James’ name in the all-time rankings, but gave Kobe Bryant the nod on his list.

“I think LeBron James is one of the greatest all-time, but right now Kobe Bryant.”

DeMarcus Cousins also went out of his way to recognize 11-time NBA champion Bill Russell as a player who “does not get enough credit” for what he has done during his career. Cousins snickered his Mt. Rushmore is “a lot bigger” compared to the normal NBA fan, and had a “tough time” naming his top four.
