Denver Nuggets Surprise Nikola Jokic With His MVP Trophy In His Rural Serbian Village

Nikola Jokic is a global Superstar. But as soon as his NBA season ends, you’ll find him back home in Sombor, Serbia working on his farm, his stables, his horses while enjoying food (and a couple of alcoholic drinks) with his friends and family.

The fame and the money hasn’t changed Jokic one bit. He’s exactly the same guy that left Sombor over a decade ago. That’s why it is so incredibly fitting that he was surprised with his second MVP award whilst coming back from a tour with his favorite horse.

The Nuggets flew to his hometown to present him with his new hardware.

This is awesome and might very well be my favorite MVP trophy presentation in NBA History.
