Dillon Brooks has never been one to shy away from speaking his mind. Last week, the outspoken Memphis Grizzlies swingman sounded off on Draymond Green, making it known that he isn’t fond of the four-time NBA champion.

His comments naturally led to insults being hurled back and forth, with Draymond sending a strong response to Brooks during an episode of “The Draymond Green Show” podcast before their on-court matchup on Thursday.

The game was nothing short of drama, with Draymond and Brooks even sharing a heated altercation during the final minute of the second quarter. But there was more drama to come after the Grizzlies beat the Warriors in a lopsided victory.

Appearing in a postgame interview, Brooks explained his differences with Draymond while throwing shade at him, bringing up Draymond’s previous altercation with teammate Jordan Poole.

Per NBC Sports:

“No, no, because I know I’m a better player than him,” Brooks told reporters (h/t Clayton Collier of ABC 24 Memphis). “I can do the same stuff that he does. That’s easy. That’s just showing up to work. I try to score, I try to figure out plays, I try to call out plays for my team, so just the fact that he was trying to pin my teammates against me, that was a low blow and that’s the type of player he is.”
