Dirk Nowitzki Jokes About ‘Airport Situation’ With Him And Ezekiel Elliott

Dirk Nowitzki was one of the NBA legends present for the opening days of the FIBA Basketball World Cup in China.

Last night, he arrived back home in Dallas and saw a ton of camera teams and reporters at the airport. This caused him to joke on Twitter about his still ongoing star-power:

“Came home from China to all these cameras at the airport. I thought to myself: “Man. I still got it!!” Turns out they were all there for Zeke….”

The camera teams were present for Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, who was coming back from his vacation in Cabo. The two-time league rushing yards leader had been LeVeon Belling the Cowboys and was holding out from his team’s training camp and preseason, as an ultimatum to negotiate for a new contract. Unlike Bell and the Steelers last year, Elliott and the Cowboys though, have reached an agreement.
