Dwight Howard was once a franchise cornerstone and inarguably the best center in the NBA. In his prime, he led the Orlando Magic to the NBA Finals and was a defensive beast who captured three straight Defensive Player of the Year awards and five straight All-NBA First Team honors.

Recently, Howard, who is currently out of the NBA, appeared on FanDuel TV where he spoke on many topics, including a comparison with two-time MVP Nikola Jokic if the former Magic center was still in his prime.

Howard and Jokic overlapped for a couple of years and even met in the 2020 NBA playoffs. When now asked whether he’d take his prime self over prime Jokic, Howard didn’t hesitate one bit and even said that he would dominate the Serbian center.

“Prime Dwight Howard all day, all day every day. I’m dominating every play with a smile on my face,” Howard laughed. “I’m here, I’m here. I’m taking prime Dwight all day.”
