Dwight Howard Makes It Clear That The Los Angeles Lakers Will Start To Dominate Eventually

The Los Angeles Lakers are having a rough go of it since the start of the season. After their ugly loss against the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday, the Lakers now own a record of 16-17 which got them sitting as the sixth seed in the Western Conference.

There are some worries about the team’s trend of rough nights for many fans and speculators given that the team continues to scramble to find its identity. Lakers big man Dwight Howard however doesn’t seem to have any reason to be in the same level of concern.

Granted that there are plenty of games left for the Lakers, the 36-year old big man sounded confident that the Lakers are going to pick up steam eventually, suggesting that they’re still learning how to play together at this current stage.

Per Bleacher Report:

“We good, man. It’s early,” Howard said. “We gonna be ready by the time the playoffs start. That’s when we start dominating.”

“This is a brand-new team than it was in 2020. All of us are really trying to learn how to play together and get our games going,” Howard noted.
