Dwyane Wade Shuts Down Claim That Julius Randle Is A Better Player Than Chris Bosh

Following a quiet year, Julius Randle has taken the league by storm this season, averaging 23.1 points, 10.9 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game on 48.0% shooting from the field for the New York Knicks.

Randle’s stellar season has earned him high praises and overwhelming comparisons. Not only that he’s now being mentioned on the same breath as today’s top power forwards, but he’s also being compared to stars of past generation.

While most of the comparisons are usually fair, one recent comparison drew some buzz and criticism after it mentioned that peak Randle is already a better player than two-time NBA champion Chris Bosh.

“Legit question: at his absolute apex, was Chris Bosh ever better than peak Julius Randle? The answer is no.”

Bosh’s former teammate Dwyane Wade caught wind of the tweet and offered a counter argument during his appearance on ‘NBA on TNT’. Wade admitted that he’s a fan of Randle, but argued that the claim is indeed unfair to Bosh, who established his career as a basketball legend.

“In the next act of his career, he had six All-Star appearances in Miami, playing with the likes of LeBron James and also Dwyane Wade, and was able to win two championships doing that,” Wade mentioned.

“Just because he wasn’t loud, just because he wasn’t fancy, doesn’t mean he’s not a great player,” the three-time NBA champion added.
