Dwyane Wade Suggests Fans Should Just Enjoy LeBron’s Remaining Years, Explains Why The ‘GOAT’ Debate Doesn’t Matter

The ‘Greatest Player of All-Time’ debate has been running rampant on every sports show and social media outlet, and not a day goes without fans debating which player should be regarded as the greatest  ever.

Arguably most NBA fans are still holding onto Michael Jordan as their ‘GOAT, while the younger generation rather picks LeBron James, who just won his fourth ring and fourth Finals MVP. Other basketball fans, meanwhile, would lean to a different legend like Wilt Chamberlain, Kobe Bryant or Bill Russell, to only name a few.

As this debate will likely never end and may possibly heat up in the next few years, three-time champion Dwyane Wade, a legend himself, suggested that fans should just enjoy LeBron’s twilight years of his career while explaining why the ‘GOAT’ debate doesn’t matter.

“Enjoy whatever left we have of LeBron James… When we talk about the GOAT conversations, it doesn’t matter who is the GOAT. He [James] is one-of-one, we will never see another him, we will never see another him, we will never see another Jordan, we will never see another Kareem. No one will ever win 11 championships like Bill Russell. Or I think. Maybe one day somebody will win 12.”
