Very Emotional Michael Jordan Unveils North Carolina Medical Clinic For Underprivileged Citizens
NBA legend and Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan has been involved with his community in North Carolina for a long time.
Jordan now unveiled the first of two Charlotte medical clinics he and his family funded to provide care to underprivileged members of the community. Jordan himself has donated $7.2 million for the two clinics.
During the opening, Jordan, who is happy that his efforts will provide a much needed medical service to the city’s less fortunate citizens, was very emotional and shed some tears.
“The money doesn’t matter, the name doesn’t really matter. This is just a start of a battle of being able to touch as many as we can and grow this project. I can only do this in gratitude – that I can’t ever actually repay what you’ve given to me.”
