Everything You Need To Know About Jimmy Butler’s Crazy Wolves ‘Comeback’

Last month, news broke that Wolves All-Star Jimmy Butler wanted out of Minnesota and demanded a trade. Ever since, he had been absent from team practices and other activities. Until now!

Yesterday, Jimmy Butler surprisingly showed up to Minnesota Timberwolves practice and took out his frustrations on his teammates, coaches and general manager Scott Layden. Butler even teamed up with the third string players, to take on the starters in scrimmages, and beat them, while trash-talking them in the process.

After the completly crazy team scrimmage and practice (man, I would have loved to watch it) Jimmy Butler broke his silence and sat down for a well-reflected interview with ESPN’s Rachel Nichols. He confirmed most of the happenings and said:

“A lot of it is true. A lot of it is true. But you gotta think, I haven’t played basketball in so long. And I’m so passionate. I love the game, and I don’t do it for any other reason except for to compete and go up against the best and try to prove that I can hang. So, all my emotion came out at one time. Was it the right way to do it? No. But I can’t control that when I’m out there competing. Like, that’s my love of the game. That’s raw me. Me at my finest, me at my purest. That’s what you’re gonna get inside the lines.”
