Former NFL Tight End Believes LeBron James And Russell Westbrook Could Be All-Pro NFL Players

When fans watch physically gifted athletes like LeBron James and Russell Westbrook explode on the basketball court, it couldn’t help but make them wonder what kind of a football player they would make if they ever considered transitioning.

LeBron was top prospect in football during his junior year and once flirted with the idea of playing in the NFL during the NBA lockout in 2011. Although not well-documented, Westbrook also played football growing up and he even teased that he could excel as a wide receiver or safety in the NFL.

With the idea of them being NFL players so teasing to think about, former NFL tight end Greg Olsen, who played for the Chicago Bears, Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks, now made a stunning admission about the potential of LeBron and Westbrook as NFL players.

“If I could coach LeBron James for one year, I could make him an All-Pro wide receiver,” Olsen said. “There’s no question in my mind. … I could turn Russell Westbrook into an All-Pro free safety.”

“There’s a handful of those guys that could make the transition just because they are so unique,” Olsen said. “But there’s few and far between those guys.”
