While the Los Angeles Lakers intend to keep their core together, there should still be a couple of tweaks going their way this offseason, especially after they failed to steal a single game from the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals.

The Lakers have been getting linked to a couple of guys already, and one NBA general manager, who talked to Heavy’s Sean Deveney, further spun the rumor mill as he now mentioned Miami Heat point guard Gabe Vincent as a potential offseason target for the Lakers.

Vincent has stepped up to the plate in the absence of Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo this playoffs. He has turned heads and should definitely garner significant interest this summer as he becomes an unrestricted free agent.

Per Heavy Sports:

“Gabe Vincent from Miami, he is a free agent and could be had at a decent number,” the NBA executive revealed to Heavy.com’s Sean Deveney. “It is hard to figure where he ranks as a shooter, and the Heat might go out of their way to keep him, but he’s the kind of fit they need there in L.A.”
