Goran Dragic Thinks Luka Doncic Could Pass Michael Jordan As The Best Player Ever By The End Of His Career

Luka Doncic is on a trajectory that few players have ever been on. At 23 years old, the Dallas Mavericks superstar is already a three-time All-NBA First Team member, a three-time All-Star, a Rookie of the Year winner, and a top 5 MVP finalist in two seasons.

Last season, Doncic made a statement after upsetting the 64-win team Phoenix Suns in such a humiliating fashion during the second-round of the NBA playoffs. Ultimately, Doncic finished the playoffs with averages of 31.7 points, 9.8 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game on 45.5% shooting.

Doncic’s dominant display hasn’t stopped there. This time, Doncic is leading the charge for the Slovenia national team in the EuroBasket 2022. The Slovenian sensation has been nothing short of spectacular as he averages 28.0 points, 7.2 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game on 51.7% shooting.

Amid Doncic’s brilliance, NBA veteran Goran Dragic couldn’t help but to praise his fellow Slovenian native. According to Dragic, Doncic could end up as the best player of all-time if he stays healthy along the way.

Per BasketNews:

“He is only 23 years old and he is playing like a veteran. He could score even 40 points in every game,” added Dragic. “He plays the game at his rhythm, he is very big, he can shoot, he can pass, he can rebound. I don’t know what else we can say about Luka, he is like… an astronaut,” Dragic described Doncic’s game.

“I think he could be [the best player in history]. He is still very young, but if he stays healthy and plays a long more time I think that by the end of his career he could be the best ever,” added Dragic.
