Guy Who Told LeBron James To Stop Filming On The Subway, Tells His Side Of The Story

Before their game against the Knicks, the Cleveland Cavaliers had their full New York experience by taking the subway. The videos of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Isaiah Thomas and the other Cavs strolling around in the subway station, then riding the subway, before casually walking through the streets of Manhattan obviously went viral.

One man though, got even more attention than the NBA stars. The guy who did not want to be filmed by LeBron James.

He said; “Can you not?” while pushing away James’ phone.

This man is James Michael Angelo, a real estate agent by day and comedian by night, who now shared his side of the story (Interview via FTW USA TODAY Sports).

 

“I noticed a bunch of tall guys getting in the train, but I was listening to U2 and I didn’t want to be filmed.”

He thought it was a college basketball team. It was only when friends and fellow comedians started reaching out on social media that he realized what had happened.

“To be honest with you, they got on and they completely squished me and he was really unaware of his space,” Angelo said.

It was first thing in the morning,” he said. “I hadn’t finished my latte and I didn’t feel like being filmed. Plus, it’s not good lighting in the subway.”
