Hawks Send Mo Williams To Denver For Cash and Player Rights
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of TheVertical.com, the Atlanta Hawks have traded veteran guard Mo Williams to the Denver Nuggets for cash considerations and rights to Cenk Akyol.
The trade gets Denver closer to the salary floor with Williams’ $2.2 million salary.
Williams, 34, who was traded to Atlanta from the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Kyle Korver deal will be waived.
Gary Neal has been signed by Atlanta on a 10-day contract.
