Heckling Fan Chickened Out After Being Confronted By Austin Rivers

NBA players get heckled all the time. Sometimes it’s funny, sometimes it’s a little over the line. Since it happens so often, players mostly don’t even react to the heckler.

But sometimes, things said by the heckler get too personal. Just like at Saturday night’s game in Houston. A fan in the tunnel heckled Austin Rivers by talking sh*t about his father, Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers.

“Your dad sucks at coaching.”

Rivers wasn’t having any of it, stopped and went towards the fan saying:

“Huh, say something?”

As always in these situations, the fan chickened out and tried to play it off like he didn’t say anything to begin with. I wish more players would confront hecklers like this.
