Isiah Thomas Taking A Shot At LeBron James: “Never Heard Michael Jordan Say He Was The Greatest”

Isiah Thomas and Michael Jordan’s long-time beef has existed since they started playing against each other back in the 1980s. A couple of decades later, it’s clear that the two basketball legends weren’t able to end their animosity, given the way they keep going at each other’s head.

So it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise is that Isiah Thomas used to be siding with LeBron James, when it comes to the never-ending GOAT debate.

While LeBron James is a freight train on the basketball court, he also is a basketball intellectual by the way he sees things before others, makes split second basketball decisions and calls out plays. This is the reason why James is considered as the ‘GOAT’ by some fans, and even the majority of fans, who see Michael Jordan as the greatest of all-time, have to admit that James is closing the gap, win by win.

But LeBron’s diva’esque behavior definitely lays a shadow over his GOAT candidacy at times. Just like him giving up on plays and leaving early in games that have already been lost, like the other night.

This last episode of LeDiva, even cause Isiah Thomas to criticize LeBron:

“Well, we come from an era where there was humbleness and respect. This is the era where they say, I am the best. I’ll even bring Jordan up in this. We have never heard Michael Jordan say, he was the greatest who ever played. And this is a generation that says no, I am the greatest to do it. And they put their stamp on it, claim it. We came from an era where we didn’t claim it. We let others claim it and fight about it,”
