Jamal Crawford Says If KD Was Mean, He’d Average 40 Points: “He’s Always Thinking About Others First”

The other week, in a surprising turn of events, former league MVP Kevin Durant has requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets. Nets general manager Sean Marks is now working with Durant and his business manager to find a trade partner.

Ever since the news broke, Durant has received plenty of hateful comments and a lot of criticism from NBA fans and the NBA media. People seem to forget how great of a player Durant really is.

Jamal Crawford now reminded people of that, when he said that Durant could easily score 40 points every night if he wanted to. Crawford continued by saying that KD is one of the realest players out there.

“He’s a pro’s pro. He’s someone who cares about people. If Kevin Durant was mean, he could average 40 points. But he averages 30 because it’s the right way to do things. He’s always thinking about others first. People like, ‘He’s too emotional. He’s too sensitive.’ Nah, he’s real. He’s giving you real emotion every single time. I would say he’s one of the realest.”
