James Harden Expects The Outcome To Be Different Next Season, Says The Bucks Are To Be Dethroned

The Brooklyn Nets were expected to steamroll the Eastern Conference after showing satisfactory results in the regular season, locking up the second seed with 48 wins despite their ‘Big 3’ barely playing together throughout the season.

However, injuries eventually took the best of Brooklyn, and as a result, their regular season success didn’t translate through the rest of their campaign, leading up to a playoff elimination against the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

While the Nets said goodbye to their 2021 title hopes too soon, their early playoff exit has definitely gave them enough time to rest and recover for next season.

Now, James Harden, who battled with hamstring injuries during their Bucks series, seems ready to go and very confident that the outcome of the upcoming season will turn out different. And, according to the 32-year Nets superstar, they’re off to catch the Bucks and dethrone them.

“This year is going to be a different story.”

“We’re not the target. The defending champions are the target. They won last year. We’re trying to catch them. “The Milwaukee Bucks won the championship last year so they should be the targets and the ones to be dethroned.”
