Jerry West Wants People To Stop Hating LeBron James And Start Recognizing His Greatness

While many of the all-time greats of the NBA are believing that today’s era is worse than the respective eras they played in – whether that be due to it being less physical, or for other reasons – Los Angeles Lakers great Jerry West has alway been on a different path.

Maybe it’s because he simply appreciates talent, or may it’s due to his decades long work in NBA front offices, but the logo has always spoken highly of today’s superstars.

One of these stars is LeBron James, who LeBron entered his 20th season of his career last night by scoring 31 points, while adding 14 rebounds and 8 assists. James still has a ton of gas left in the tank as he’s averaged 30.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game on 52.4% shooting last season.

Jerry West now shared his views on LeBron James and criticized many fans showing their unjustified hate for James, while ignoring his all-time great achievements.

“I greatly admire what he’s accomplished. It’s hard for me to believe that someone doesn’t recognize his greatness. this guy does everything, he’s a swiss army knife. And he’s competitive as hell. Frankly I wish people would leave him alone.”
