Jusuf Nurkic Is Being Sued Over Phone Throwing Incident With Pacers Fan

At 6’11” and 290 pounds, Portland Trail Blazers big man Jusuf Nurkic isn’t necessarily someone I’d like to get into trouble with.

But during the end of regular season, one Pacers fan though did just that – get into trouble with Nurkic.

The fan was trash talking Nurkic throughout the entire game, leading to Nurkic being fed up with him after the game. Nurk confronted the fan, grabbed the his phone, tossed it some rows back, and then got in his face.

Back in March, Jusuf Nurkic was fined $40,000 by the NBA for the altercation, but that might only have been the start.

The Pacers fan is allegedly suing the big man, according to reports by the Indy Star. The lawsuit states:

“The lawsuit states that “at no time did Geske ever insult, comment on, or mention Nurkić’s mother or grandmother. At no time did Geske, nor anyone in his party, use profanity or any other derogatory language. Geske did not do or say anything inappropriate during or after the game.” The lawsuit says witnesses described Geske’s words during the game as “‘G-Rated,” ‘light-hearted,’ and ‘humorous.’”
