Karl-Anthony Towns’ Father Was Wholesomely Celebrating On The Sidelines As KAT Was Named An All-Star

This past year-and-a-half was nothing short of disastrous for Karl-Anthony Towns.

The All-Star has lost his mother and five other family members to Covid-19, and found himself testing positive for the virus. Additionally, Towns was hit by a drunk driver in Los Angeles during this past offseason, which even led to him being hospitalized.

Good news are therefore more than welcome in the Towns household. Last night, Towns has been named an All-Star reserve and will be suiting up in Cleveland later this month for his third All-Star Game appearance.

Since the 2022 All-Star reserves were announced, while the Minnesota Timberwolves played their game against the Detroit Pistons, Karl Towns Sr. was constantly checking his phone during the game to see if his sone made the team.

Then, when it was announced and Towns Sr. received the notification on his phone, he was one proud father and had the most wholesome reaction, before signaling the good news to his son on the court.

The Timberwolves went on to win the game, and celebrated their big man in style afterwards in the locker room.
