Karl Malone Shares Story Of Shaquille O’Neal Slapping Greg Ostertag, ‘F**king Him Up For The Rest Of His Life’

Earlier this year, the NBA’s social media accounts streamed a very entertaining “Inside Stuff 90’s Reunion” with many former star players.

While most of the stories these legends shared were funny anecdotes of the past era, things got a bit more serious when Charles Barkley asked the other players who they were surprised never turned out to be a star in the league.

This is when Karl Malone shared the story about Shaquille O’Neal absolutely dominated Greg Ostertag in a fight during a preseason game against the Los Angeles Lakers. 

“‘Hey, if I see that motherf**ker I’m going to slap the sh*t out of him.’ And he is not lying. We’re waiting on [Ostertag] to come out for the preseason, on the shootaround, and Shaq walked right to him. ‘Man, I told you to quit talking that sh*t.’ Before we could even respond, Ostertag’s on the ground looking for his contact. It ruined him for the rest of our career.”
