Kendrick Perkins Reveals Biggest Problem Of The Brooklyn Nets’ ‘Big Three’

Everybody is talking and discussing about the Brooklyn Nets these days, after their blockbuster trade, that added James Harden to their roster.

Since the trade, the Nets haven’t really been able to consistently show that they’re a contender, losing a lot of games to ‘weaker’ teams. While they are missing Kevin Durant at the moment, one thing is for certain nonetheless – they still have a lot of work to do, particularly on the defensive end.

Former NBA Champion turned analyst Kendrick Perkins now explained why the Nets are struggling:

“They can’t stop a nose-bleed defensively. But when I look at this Brooklyn Nets team, there’s one word that sticks out to me and that’s accountability. Because when you look at all the teams that formed a Big Three or went on to and won championships or be contenders, they bought in defensively and it started with the stars,”

“I get it. They may not have the personnel defensively, but it has to come from those guys holding each other accountable along with Steve Nash and his coaching staff holding them accountable.”
