Kevin Durant Gets High To Distract His Brain, Talks Marijuana With David Letterman

About a year and a half ago, the NBA and the National Basketball Players Association agreed to not conduct randomized tests for marijuana any longer.

It was the continuation of a policy that was put in place for the NBA Bubble. Decriminalizing and destigmatizing marijuana has been a major topic at the government level, and also the NBA, as many players admit to use the recreational drug every once in a while – or even on a regular basis.

Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant for example is an outspoken advocate for marijuana, and now revealed that to him, smoking some weed is a distraction for your brain, comparing it to having a glass of wine, during an interview with David Letterman.

“To me, it clears the distractions out of your brain a little bit. Settles you down. It’s like having a glass of wine….

I’m actually high right now.”
