Kings and Hawks Trade Compliments On Twitter Because Of NBA’s Social Media Warning
This is one of the best things I’ve seen all season. I absolutely love it.
The NBA has banned teams from bashing opponents on Social Media (like why? this is the most fun…).
“As a result, we want teams to be aware of the NBA’s rules with respect to the use of social media by teams. As with in-game entertainment, teams are prohibited from mocking and/or ridiculing opponents (including teams, players, team personnel (including owners) and opponents’ home cities) and game officials on social media in any form, including through statements, pictures or videos.”
The Atlanta Hawks and Sacramento Kings were starting off the new age of NBA Social Media and they’re already leading by example. During their game this past Friday, both teams continously tweeted nice things to each other.
