Kobe Will Call LeBron When He Passes Him On All-Time Scoring List

Year 17 and he’s still ruling the league.

LeBron James has been on an absolute tear to start the 2019-2020 season and looks like he still is in his absolute prime, even though he’s 35-years old.

After suffering a more serious injury for the first time in his career, last season, leading to him missing the playoffs, one could have seen a redemption year coming. Even LeBron himself predicted this to happen.

And with no real idea of when or if LeBron’s prime will be starting to fade, the man himself seems to be more confident in his abilities, than ever. Just recently, James had his 9000th career assist, becoming the only player in NBA history with at least 30,000 points, 9,000 rebounds and 9,000 assists.

He’s 9th on the NBA’s All-Time Assist List, and 4th on the All-Time Scoring List with 33,3563 career points, with Kobe Bryant in sight for 3rd all-time. As of today, LeBron only needs 80 points to pass Kobe. Bill Pascke of the LA Times talked to Kobe, shortly before losing his #3 spot and Bryant said that he will call James once he passed him, to congratulate him.

“I won’t go to the game, I’d rather that be about him. I’ll for sure call him and tell him congratulations. I’m so happy for Bron, all he’s accomplished and continues to accomplish, he’s been great.”
