Kyrie Irving Was Trolled With ‘Unvaccinated Mode’ On NBA 2K

Kyrie Irving’s vaccination status continues to be one of the biggest storylines this season. The controversial Brooklyn Nets star chooses not to get vaccinated and now has to live with the consequences of that choice.

Irving is ineligible to play home games due to New York City’s vaccine mandate. On top of that, per NBA’s mandate, Irving will not be paid for any games that he misses as a result of refusing to take the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Nets then even explained that they’ll sit Irving in all the other games as well. Additionally Kyrie won’t practice with the team until he’s eligible to play in every game.

Now, “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” fan fun of Irving’s refusal to get vaccinated, and added an unvaccinated mode to NBA 2K22.

“See how many consecutive hours your player can binge on Netflix before being asked, ‘Are you still watching?’

The game is “rated ‘M’ for maybe you should have just gotten vaccinated,”
