Kyrie Irving’s Summer – Harvard Business School Instead Of Vacation

Until his season-ending inury, Kyrie Irving and the Boston Celtics had been one of the biggest success stories of this past NBA season.

On March 24, Kyrie Irving had to undergo season-ending left knee surgery. While his team, the Boston Celtics, continued their success story, and made the Conference Finals without him (and Gordon Hayward), many fans believe that the team would have advanced to the Finals if Irving had been able to play.

Irving is fully heatlhy now and can’t wait to step on the court again. But until then, he is using the off-season to upgrade his education. Harvard instead of vacation!

According to a report from Nicole Yang of boston.com, Irving is taking a business course at Harvard Business School called ‘Crossover Into Business’. The course is designed to help professional athletes be more prepared for business activities (they do earn a lot of money after all) during and after their active sports careers.
